Whilst academic progress and attainment are hugely important, we also recognise the significance of life outside the classroom. In addition to the excellent academic, creative arts and sporting activities on offer, the location of our school enables us to provide an exciting, adventurous and diverse array of extra-curricular activities that all pupils are encouraged to participate in. We consider them an important and exciting feature of school life and contribute enormously to our pupils’ social and emotional development and their preparedness for life after Moyles.

The Duke of Edinburgh award is hugely popular, with large numbers of our pupils completing the bronze and silver award before the end of Year 11. Our location within the New Forest National Park couldn’t be more ideal!

Our annual summer ‘camp outs’ are the highlight of the year for many of our children – a perfect opportunity to spend time around the campfire with good friends and create lifelong memories.

Away from our own school grounds, trips and visits take place on a regular basis for all year groups. A broad range of opportunities are on offer including European language trips; cultural visits to cities such as Berlin and Madrid; and more adventurous self-funded expeditions to places such as Cambodia, Borneo and Iceland have challenged our pupils, both physically and emotionally.

Our after-school clubs and activities offer the opportunity to enhance learning experiences, develop talents as well as trying something new and exciting. Who knows what passion and interests our children may go on to develop?
